As a photographer and clothing designer based in New York City, I focus on capturing the dynamic energy and untold human stories that define urban life. With over a decade of experience, my work is a vivid celebration of the city’s complexity, resilience, and diversity. My creative journey began during a decade-long career with New York City Transit (MTA), where I developed a deep connection to the subway system, which is a recurring theme in my art. My projects like Love in Transit and Original Flowers showcase my signature style of long exposure photography, where the everyday movement of subway trains becomes a canvas for mesmerizing light trails and ghostly figures. These projects have been featured by Bēhance and even earned me a spot on the list of the top 100 photographers to watch in 2024 by thehug.xyz. As Gallery Manager for DSGN Gallery at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, I have had the privilege of curating exhibitions showcasing the works of iconic artists such as Chris RWK, Al Diaz, Danny Cortes, Eric Orr, and Sneaker Wolf. These collaborations have expanded my creative vision and further embedded me in New York’s vibrant art community. Additionally, my partnerships with global brands like Adidas and Forbes have enhanced my approach to art and design. I have also explored other artistic ventures, including my photography book, The White Book, which delves into the cultural and artistic significance of the subway system, and the Escape from New York Snapback, a hand-distressed Yankee hat symbolizing resilience and grit in a challenging urban environment. Ultimately, my goal is to create work that resonates deeply with people—art that highlights the beauty in everyday moments and fosters a profound appreciation for the complexity of urban life.
