Hi my name is Tyler Jordan, I'm a professional self-taught photographer and fashion designer. My work revolves around capturing the essence of urban life and bringing it to life through my photography and clothing designs. I specialize in two primary areas of photography: subways and fashion. Through my subway photography, I strive to capture the beauty and rawness of the New York City subway system, which has been a big part of my life. My fashion photography, on the other hand, showcases the authentic but polished side of NYC, featuring models and designers in front of the city's streets and architecture.
I am known for my ability to bring together the worlds of art and fashion. Through my collaborations and partnerships with other platforms and brands, I have honed my ability to design apparel logos and bring high fashion to life. I'm most proud of my gallery, C.A.N.V.A.S Gallery, which I launched in 2017. It was a small intimate space, but it gave me the opportunity to showcase my work and connect with like-minded individuals. It was through that chance that I found my tribe and the concept store "Da Spot NYC" was born.
What sets me apart from others is my unique perspective and style that I have developed through years of experience and experimentation. Despite being self-taught, I have been able to create a distinct style that has garnered attention from both local and international audiences. My goal is to challenge viewers to see the world in a new light and capture the beauty and complexity of NYC in my work.
